²ÝÝ®ÎÛÊÓƵµ¼º½

Muhammad Shafi's research is based on the fabrication of carbon fiber reinforced carbon composite materials through the process of additive manufacturing.

Muhammad completed his BSc in Mechanical Engineering at the ²ÝÝ®ÎÛÊÓƵµ¼º½ in Spring 2021. During his bachelor’s degree, Muhammad interned at Avmax Aviation Services as a Structures Engineer, where he worked on the design and verification of structural aircraft modifications, and built a material test fixture. He also got the chance to intern at Suncor Energy, where he worked with Engineering Management on the Meadow Creek SAGD project during the FEED stage of the project. Lastly, Muhammad worked considerably on the ²ÝÝ®ÎÛÊÓƵµ¼º½ Solar Car Team’s 5^th generation car, and led the body and chassis design of the 6^th generation car.
