Biography
Artemy attended West Island College, during which time he developed a video game and participated in a ²ÝÝ®ÎÛÊÓƵµ¼º½ Hackathon contest. Artemy chose the ²ÝÝ®ÎÛÊÓƵµ¼º½ for its robust computer science program and is particularly interested in computer programming and design. Artemy would like to pursue an academic career and work towards a Ph.D. Receiving a prestige Award has allowed Artemy to maintain excellent academic performance while remaining active in various campus clubs and research initiatives. This summer, under the supervision of Dr. Ying Xu Wang, Artemy is planning to research human gait recognition and how technology can help rehabilitate people with walking impairments.
